Lucretia Mott was a reformer who faught for women and african americans
rigths. She was also one of the first feminists. I think that she had a big impact on
modern day and her own time as well.
One important example of how she effected her own time would be her fight
fight for womens rights. This would be a good example because there were not alot
of peoplefighting for womens rights during her time. Nor were there people fighting
for african americans rights so of course she made a huge impact by trying to draw
the women and african americans to the idea of them having freedom.
Another good example would be that she was one of the first feminists and
bought the idea of feminism to the us. This would be because Lucretia Mott was the
first feminist of the U.S.A (who knew she was) she technically bought the idea to
the citzens of the U.S. If it weren't for her there probbably wouldn't be feminists
today.
One final example and probably the most major would be that she waone of the
founders of the Senessa Falls Women's rights convention. This is a crutial part of
abolitionist history because the Senecca Falls Women's rights convention was one of
the first major conventions that Lucretia Mott took part in.
These are three good examples of how Lucretia Mott-one of the first
feminist/abolitionists effected her time as well as modern day. Thank you for taking
some of your time to read this essay.
