I agree that a new World Trade center should be built. I mean, this is America (You know, accepting, loveing, caring America) so we shouldn't hesitate to build something to help out a religion with it's coping loss of a loved one. I mean, why would you victimize one type of person from worshipping, it's mean. I wouldn't stop putting crosses in churches because someone died in the old ruins where the church was built. Understood people had died there, but it's not like we have much of a choice. We being so...accepting and caring...can't turn people away just because of how they worship, or what, it's just....religious favoritism, so thus, it's wrong. We're a religiously free America so, why should we be so mean about it? All in all, to sum it up, I'm more on the "could care less" side of it all. I could care less if they built the mosque or not.

Women Creating a New World
I found this article completely disturbing. Reading such things makes me afraid, and scared to be a woman in today's world. "In this century, it is the brutality inflicted on so many women and girls around the globe: sex trafficking, acid attacks, bride burnings and mass rape. " Things like Mass rape and sex traffiking is something to be frowned upon and completely disliked. Things of this atrocious nature only being chaos into the world, as well as depression (and have tendancy to cause mass suicides). Thankfully there are society's and places that victims of such things can go to. But if the world truely wishes to get better then they should most definately focus on the women and children. "There’s a growing recognition among everyone from the World Bank to the U.S. military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff to aid organizations like CARE that focusing on women and girls is the most effective way to fight global poverty and extremism." If we focus on the women, then we will know the ways f their caring natures, thus using that knowledge to fix it.

How to create a PSA
Creating A PS Brainstorm ideas:
I could show the children in Haitti and how they are suffering
I could also put in vocals and pictures.
Effective instrumental music could effect the outlook I may get.
I could use overly sad pictures to catch the viewers attention.

Using "Retard" as a Put Down
Facts:
Seventy to 90 percent of people with intellectual disabilities in the United States are estimated to be unemployed.
Special Olympics studies reveal that more than 60 percent of Americans don't believe that children with intellectual disabilities should be educated in their child's school.
In Texas, caregivers were recently found to be forcing residents of an institution to awake in the middle of the night and fight one another while staffers cheered and taunted.
My thoughts:
Well, in my opinion, it's not nice to say words like this but words are only words. They can't hurt you. I myself have used words like that, and just because it hurts someones feelings doesn't mean that, that will stop someone from saying it. We're humans, and it's been more then obivous that we don't care how what me do effects other people.
Has it Changed my Mind?:
In all honesty, no, I don't believe it has. I'm again (only human) so there will be times when I get mad or sad and let words like these slip out. Some people can't control what they say when they're emotional because some people are impulsive. I am. So my point is, words are words, I know they hurt but it's truem and no this articale has not swayed me. (I suppose I'm naturally hard headed).

R.I.P - Sebastian Michaelis
Recently a freind of mine committed suicide. This is just a (R.I.P) Section where people can pay their respects. So if you're reading this please feel free to pay your respects, in a comment or in person.
Sebastian is and always will be a loving and kind-hearted 18 year-old, who is funny, comedic, and has a Great sense of humor. Sebastian has a passion for all things goth. He will always be cherished by the people who knew him well.
Sebastian will be remembered in our hearts; the love that he shared to his family and friends will never be forgotten because he had shared his heart for those who have been around him. He loved so many things including his beloved lighter, posters and his Final Fantasy video games, but most of all the people he cared for.
To those around him can say that he is a great friend, son, brother, cousin, grandson. And he will be missed dearly.

5 Things I'll do to go Green
1. Use the water that's left over from washing or steaming vegetables, cooking pasta, or boiling eggs to water indoor plants once it cools.
2. Turn off the tap while you brush your teeth and shave and you'll save as much as 3,000 gallons per year.
3. Wash only full loads in the laundry machine and dishwasher.
4. When you're shopping for a new computer, keep in mind that a laptop uses much less energy than a desktop model.
5. Skip the dryer and hang your clothes on a clothesline or drying rack to save both energy and wear and tear on fabrics.
In order to go green I would follow these rules and ideas to keep it cleaner, and safer for the environment in general.

Be the change you wish to see in the world
To me this statement means that if people want to change the world, they will have to be the change they are looking for. It means that to change the world, one can't just sit back and watch, hoping for something to happen, but to rise above the rest, and change it themselves. I agree with this statement though, because I was raised to think that if somethings gotta change or get done, then you would have to do it yourself. This statement is not only true, but also slightly touching. Due to the fact that I recently found that I can't depend on many of my so called "friends", I found that if I were to change something, depending on someone (in my case anyway) is something that is not a choice, in any way.

Bullying Interview
This video slightly angered me. How could a person be so heartless as to ignore the fact that they are driving a person to suicide because of their bullying. But, what I still don't fully understand is why anyone would look by the fact that you are driving a person insane. I have always thought that bullying was just wrong, but this only strengthens my outlook.

My Successes And Difficulties of The First Semester
Throughout the second semester, I met a lot of problems. But on took over most of my time and effort. Computer access. Throughout the first semester computer access was a complete challenge for me. I had almost none at all. Another difficulty I faced was time management. It was hard to manage my homework and projects on the computer. I had a lot of reports and projects to do through computer. Now, every time I did have computer access, I found it hard to manage what I did on it and when, also for how long.
This semester I plan to allow myself more time management, as well as allowing myself to be more organized of what i do on the computer and when.
There are very few things I like about technology. I don't like how it always stalls, and how it can shut down and loose all of your work. But I do enjoy being able to put my feelings on the internet, allowing them to be seen wold wide, thus making my opinion seen by the world.
